Letter from the world speaks about the sudden impact and uncertainties faced by the neighborhood of Serangoon North during the great economic meltdown of 2009.
A project for my foundation year module in school, I decided to explore the subjects from a normal singapore neighborhood and seek to express their shock and uncertainly when facing the economic crisis. Letter from the World arrives at their doorstep one day, and without warning, a barrage of headlines about the meltdown crashes into our protagonist once they had opened the letter.
